Aunt Emily

Emily Bowyer Hammel was my father's older sister. She was the dearest person I've ever known. Over several adolescent summers, she patiently taught me how to sew and how to cook. I loved her. Sadly, she has been gone these few years and I miss her very much. However, I am carrying on her legacy of sewing and trying to carry on her legacy of caring.

Experiment


Just trying this new blog editor called Qumana - it allows you to create posts off-line and has a SPELL CHECKER!!!! http://www.qumana.com/



It also allows you to type text and it wraps around the photo you insert.



Can't remember now where I saw this pattern last month, but it seemed quite a nice vintage pattern. Thought I'd include it in the experiment!!
